January 2026 “Plans”

(A reminder that I DO say “subject to change and chaos” so nothing here should be used as “proof” of books, etc “promised.” I promise nothing except a good time.)

We KNOW this is gonna be a long one (as they always are), so grab a beverage and get cozy. Let’s get into it…

Trinity of Blood

The first book (mini-series?) I’ll be completing in 2026 is the Trinity of Blood, the MM -> MMF vampire romance saga that sweeps across oceans of time: Bury Me With My Boots On (1885 • Available now), Vampires Totally Suck (1985 • REVAMPED & currently on preorder – releasing Feb 1st), and Come Out & Prey (Present day • Preorder coming soon for a March 1st release!)

These individual parts are/will be releasing as deluxe ebooks (with art inside) in my direct author store ONLY. The full Trinity of Blood collection will go up for preorder in March and release April 1, as a standard ebook AND paperback in both direct and on Amazon/KU (so therefore, the three parts will no longer be available in my store). The cover art (by Lemonade Doodles) for all three parts will remain inside, along with censored NSFW art by Lem that you can buy as prints in my store. Lem is also licensed to sell art of my characters, so you’ll see additional prints for sale in her patron shop (and for events).

There will also be a foiled, hardcover special edition (with full color art inside of the covers, etc…) with printed edges and some extra special goodies (bookmark, stickers) and the option to add-on foiled TAROT CARDS! Three unique tarot cards per part – so nine total! All by Lem, ofc. There will be a PATRON sale for ALL paid tiers (although I may also offer it at future events… like 2027 onward) and is tentatively on the calendar for June.

Audiobooks

We’re finally past the bottle-neck of Villainous Things audiobooks from the past couple of years, so the first release of 2026 will be the last in the Villains in Space trilogy: Interstellar Love Song on July 14th! (And yes, There Will Be Blind Reacts!) I cannot WAIT for Gabriel Michael and Nick J. Russo to return as Micah and Ziggy, and will let everyone know once the preorder goes live (probably in June).

After that will be the Trinity of Blood audiobook! Yes, it will be a single audiobook (since it’s a single book in the end – just released in three parts), and no, I don’t know who the narrators will be yet (although I have a few on my radar…). I promise, I will announce more as I know more (since Podium doesn’t want the doc until all three parts are complete). Stay tuned for that and what comes after!

Top Secret Project

Oooh, what’s this? Just a lil secret project I need to keep under wraps for now. What I can tell you is it will be a standalone, enemies-to-lovers, contemporary MM romance that is unhinged AF (of course) and based on a topic I am OBSESSED with IRL! Lemme tell ya, I am GNAWING at my enclosure to start this book, but will be finishing up vampires first. After that, however, it will be off to the races!

I’m aiming for a June release (barring change and chaos!) but will be announcing it well before then (and I think I just decided on the title…)

What About More in the Villainous Universe?

I get a lot of questions (and quite a few assumptions, let’s be real) about whether or not I will write more in this universe.

The short answer is yes.

There will definitely be more bonus content on Patreon (especially ALIEN POLYCULE and LIZARD BABIES) that will eventually be published in collections – like I did with Villainous All the Way). To get more granular here, I’m thinking another VATW-style collection (once I have enough content – will probably include normie stories*) for both my direct author store and Amazon, but then a zesty tw!ns + alien polycule-specific collection that is direct only (the Zon doesn’t take kindly to such tab00 thangs…) However, that’s all in good time.

The longer answer:

Last year was rough, and when Villains in Space (my only solo releases bringing in new Amazon royalties) didn’t do well, it admittedly soured me on more spin-offs, hence the switch to vamps.

But I do want to get going again on the supe academy series (and finish a certain serial on Patreon… speaking of normie stories). Just sit tight & THANK YOU for your patience!

Reach the Wider Romance Reader Community!

I had this as a goal last year but THIS is the year I’m hoping it finally happens! This is also a goal my current readers can help with (and many of you are already doing your best to HYPE and I APPRECIATE you!). But seriously, anywhere you can talk about my books: Facebook genre reader groups (not individual author groups – I mean like M/M Book Rec), TikTok, Discord, Reddit, Instagram, Bluesky, your local bookclub, your mom’s BBQ… just run your mouths like the proud Weird-H0’s you are!

What About More Special Editions? (And other goodies)

The easiest way to tackle this beast of a topic is list format:

  • January 12th (THIS MONDAY) to 26th: The Yaga’s Riders special edition omnibus (illustrated by Marta of Into the Forest) will go on a rare PUBLIC sale.

  • February 9th (my and Micah’s birthday) to 23rd: Marley and E’Shel of Mahogany Mail/Marley’s Must Reads were gracious enough to offer up an Earth Boys Are Easy special edition (illustrated by Bronwyn.psd) reprint AND continuation sale (again, for the public)! This means you’ll be able to order all three of the books in the Villains in Space trilogy OR just the second and third. PLEASE NOTE: THESE WILL BE DIGITALLY SIGNED. I assume this was also done for logistics reasons, but it wasn’t my decision to make. You can always bring them to me at an event if you must have me breathe on the page! 

  • March (dates TBD): Renegade Romance Herculeia special edition PATRON resale! That’s right: April of Renegade was also gracious enough to offer up this formerly Book Harvest-exclusive Lemonade Doodles masterpiece for my lovely patrons. I will let you know as soon as I pin down April for some dates but I can tell you it probably won’t be while I’m in New Orleans for Shadows & Seduction.

  • June(?): Tentative sale period (probably towards the beginning of the month) for the aforementioned Trinity of Blood special edition (with cover art – and art inside – by Lem!) and TAROT CARDS… Aaand I might already be in talks with Kat from Sanctum Flames for a vampy candle set.

  • July? Villainous Things TRADING CARD reprint & expansion sale. Yes, this will be an opportunity for anyone who missed the Rabble: End Game book box to get their claws on the original eight foiled trading cards of our favorite supes! And if you did secure your set, Lem and I are scheming up four more characters to add to your collection… 

  • Late fall?? Another possible (meaning, nothing is set in stone) Villainous Things special edition reprint sale. IF this happens, it will be before the holidays but after I’m done with other things for the year (and they wouldn’t ship until 2027). I may also open it up to newsletter subscribers, but probably not the public. In the meantime, please don’t feed the greedy resellers (buy at cost, sure, but don’t give these fools twice+ what I sell them for. They aren’t increasing the value by breathing on the books, trust).

Villainous Things Comics & Herculeia Italian Translations

In case you missed it, UK-based Talescape picked up Not All Himbos Wear Capes last year to adapt it into a manga-style COMIC! We’ve received glimpses of character art (plus a lovely Christmas and NYE art surprises from Talescape illustrator gojibang89, and we’re looking at a July-August release date for Vol. 1 (of 3 total for Himbos). I will share more as I know exact release dates & details…

There will also be merch(!) and a standard paperback of the full Himbos, and Talescape has offered the possibility of a Patron pre-sale for the limited special edition. TBD TBD. 

And for our proud h0, Herculeia, the lovely Jessica at InkLiterary is about to embark on an Italian translation odyssey for the full duet – to be completed in time for my appearance at RARE Florence in October! I’m also very excited to design these, because we’re thinking object covers and I’ve never done those for my books before… stay tuned!

BIG A$$ ACCESSIBILITY GOAL

Get My Ebooks Into Libraries (and my paperbacks into more stores).

It was a BIG DEAL when Amazon decided to change their own TOS this past year to allow ebooks in Kindle Unlimited to also be available in libraries. The only reason I haven’t jumped on it yet is because I need the time to reformat and upload to the platform to allow me to do that.

And with my paperbacks (which already CAN be in libraries if they want… just sayin’), I want them on my bookstore shelves! Shawna helped me set up my wholesale forms last year, and while I’ve received a handful of direct orders (plus the stores who buy my books from other distributors) I just need to the time to fill out bookstore forms.

Luckily, there is also a lovely platform like Inkventory, that connects authors with bookstores directly, but I still want to apply to specific ones…

Speaking of merch: I did also relaunch my public merch store and PATRON-ONLY merch store with the Space Daddy release, buuuut the 3rd party (Teespring/Spring) handling the PUBLIC store dropped the ball on order fulfillment big time (if you STILL haven’t received your order from Teespring, please follow these instructions to look into it). The patron store is fine and while I’ll probably add new items soon, the public store fiasco took the wind out of my sails a bit…

What about a comic with Lem?? Never fear! Bestie and I will now be shifting our focus to the Villains in Space trilogy and plan to crowd-fund it (through Kickstarter), since comics are expensive AF to produce. More info to come!

PATREON CONTINUES TO GROW AND THRIVE

Imma get schmoopy for a moment, but I need to say THANK YOU to everyone who has and continues to support me in this way (absolutely NO SHADE if you cannot for financial reasons!). With how ya girl has been struggling in other areas, having this creative cushion – this (mostly) SAFE SPACE – to exist just means the world to me.

Random recent highlights:

  • I hit 500+ paid members (1,000+ total)!
  • I recently discovered I’m #84 among the top 5,000 adult writing creators (according to Graphtreon – and yes, I am WELL aware that much larger authors are not showing up on that list. I’m just trying to cure my depression* with random stats, mmkay?)
  • To no one’s surprise, N/SFW art (mostly by Lem, nowadays), bonus shorts, fancy special editions, monthly Lives with Lem (and probably my audiobook blind reacts), and my TMI “deep thoughts” continue to be my most popular content.
  • That’s not gonna stop me from dropping advanced chapters, sneaky peeks, polls & ask the patrons, and everything else I share to ensure you DON’T need to go on social media to hear the news if you don’t want to…


SELF-CARE GOALS

Ugh. This is not only a slow work in progress, but where I have not been doing so hot… but I’m trying to remind myself that the state of the (bookish/greater) world isn’t helping (me OR my readers, who I rely on).

So the things I’m NOT doing for myself (and NEED to get better at):

  • Start (and keep!) an exercise routine
  • Better sleep (stop staying up late reading smut…)
  • Set office hours & take time off for hobbies, fun  & decompressing
  • Get the F out of the house & spend more time with family and friends
  • I did travel to Portugal! [Insert me waving a tiny flag of victory]


BIG A$$ PERSONAL GOAL: Give my (physical, emotional, mental) health the attention it deserves

As I do, I went DEEP into some MINDSET CHALLENGES I need to address on the Pates (for paid members).

I’m not gonna lie… this year(s) has been rough for me mentally… But the best I can do is keep moving forward, one foot in front of the other (baby steps, as Dr. Micah would say), and appreciate all I HAVE accomplished (while knowing there will always be more to come).

It’s that time again… Time for my (EXTREMELY LOOSE) “plans” for the year ahead!

PLEASE NOTE: There WILL be SPOILERS AHEAD if you haven’t caught up on the Villainous Things universe (all the way through Villainous All the Way and including Earth Boys Are Easy). The graphics themselves are non-spoilery.

Villains in Space (Villainous Spin-Off Series #1)

As we all should know, Ziggy and Micah enjoyed their first space (sloots) adventure in Earth Boys Are Easy, I hope everyone knew that this trilogy will be starring the SAME two idiots in love.

Space Daddy’s Guide to the Galaxy is off to the races (literally – it starts with complete chaos…), and as my patrons saw in a recent spicy snippet, our boys are banging by chapter 3! The usual with these two.

Please note: I fully intend on keeping the focus on Micah and Ziggy’s relationship (with cameos!). That being said, I will gladly give you h0’s some horny glo worm alien polycule bonus content on the Pates (for MVPs of DP and above).

[As of press time – January 3rd] I do NOT have a preorder up yet (the muse is musing, see below…) but will let everyone know as soon as I do!

More Villainous Spin-Offs

I’ve found in the past is that it’s best for my brain/focus to write in order, so I’m fully intending on writing Villains in Space straight through (meaning, write book 2 then immediately onto book 3).

And while this is still the plan, a certain Villainous spin-off idea has rudely decided it has main character energy… so I’m currently switching between Space Daddy’s Guide to the Galaxy and this yet-to-be-named first book in the Boot Camp Academy for Supes series I’ve hinted at in the past.

These will be TRUE standalones (meaning, while reading in order is great, there won’t be an overarching storyline besides the academy/boot camp setting), and I am already OBSESSED with our two MCs.

I will be sharing more on my Patreon (as well as asking for input on my verrry strategic tropes…) but that’s all I’m sharing for now.

Big Ass Publishing Goal: Convince even more readers to give my books a try!

If I had a dollar for every reader (especially on Facebook or TikTok, where my books just haven’t taken off the same way they have on Instagram…) who said “I almost didn’t read these… because of the titles/covers [or] I didn’t think I’d be interested in superheroes…”

So yeah, my goal is to get those on-the-fence readers to decide to jump faster.

More Special Editions, Book Boxes, Etc.

What I’m also working on this month is formatting the interior of the Enter the Multi-Vers special edition hardcover, so I can stay on track for getting those boxes/books out in February (other than that, all the box goodies are in-house or on the way!).

I’ll be ordering a test print soon for the patron-only Villainous All the Way (FOILED with FULL-COLOR art inside!) special edition hardcover, which is otherwise already formatted, so I can get a test print and then get those into production (and out the door BEFORE the Multi-Vers boxes/books). The pre-ordered paperbacks are set to arrive from Amazon by Jan 22nd.

So what’s next? Well, as promised, Rabble: End Game will also get a special edition/book box to match the others, and to give us ALL some breathing room, I would rather wait until the Multi-Vers books/boxes are out the door before putting End Game on sale.

And don’t forget! As promised many times, (including on the FAQ page on my website), there will be a BIG Patreon sale of ALL the Villainous Things special editions (including VATW), but only AFTER the 5th box (End Game) is sent. As we know, FULL-CAST REUNION audiobook for Rabble: End Game is already up for preorder HERE with a release date of February 11th!

Podium has agreed to audio for Villainous All the Way, and that will start moving toward production soon. After that, it will be audiobooks as they come!

No, I do not have a release date for the VATW audiobook. Please read the next slide – and read it again – for a few reminders to help my sanity.

Self-Care Goals (a work in progress)

I am at the point where I NEED to make some changes with my health before things get worse. I also need to focus on a better work life balance that includes more time with family and friends.

Having this new team to help carry the load will be huge, but the biggest change has to come from within.

For my own mental health, I chose to drop out of an MM anthology, and the monster antho is postponed until next year. Since my MM story was well underway – my first contemporary, set in the Villainous world but starring NORMIES – how ‘bout I pop it into Patreon instead, as an ongoing serial series for Weird-H0’s and above? After that will be a Villainous Xmas collection!

One of my main goals for 2024 was to continue to GO HARD for my patrons, and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing! It’s quantity AND quality in there (including lotsa interaction with lil ol’ me) and I have more goodies coming down the line…

My self-care goals have been slow but steady, with therapy (& boundaries), delegating, office hours (ish), a new hobby (besides reading smüt)and waiting until the book is DONE to put up the preorder leading the way! Baby steps bc I’m baby…

My first offering for the year is Enter the Multi-Vers releasing on January 18th!

This book wraps up the overarching storyline of the series, but since NONE of us are ready to leave the Suarez clan just yet, you can expect a book 5 – Rabble: End Game. This will be a just-for-funsies reunion style romp, set at Butch and Xander’s destination wedding (finally!) and featuring POVs from all the guys so far. Violentia and Kai will also get POVs, as it’s high time our BDE Suarez sister found love, hmm?

You won’t see a preorder up for Rabble just yet, because I’m doing things a little differently in 2024 (for my own mental health – scroll aaaalll the way down).

Still not ready to leave Big City (and beyond) behind?

Without spoiling anything from Enter the Multi-Vers, I have set myself up, story-wise, for at least three spin-off series. These are just working titles, but I’ll be polling Patreon in the coming weeks to decide which direction I head in first!

In the meantime, Patreon (MVPs of DP+) will also get some spicy Suarez bonus content, starting with an extended ending to Tangled in Tendrils, some twin taboo fanfic (written by our chaotic alien, Theo, of course), and a Villainous V-Day special based on THIS art print!

What about audiobooks?

In terms of Villainous, the last I heard, Nick J. Russo is taking John Solo’s place for the remainder of the series (joining Philip Alces), Gentlemen Prefer Villainsis set for Feb 27, and Putting Out for a Hero is set for April 9. I will keep you posted once I hear a date for Multi-Vers*…

Valhalla is Full of Hunks is also moving along, set to release on March 19, with Charlotte Claremont and Rock Engle (who will be narrating under his fantasy recording name, Leo Barnabas).

*These delays have been completely out of my hands (and I have NO idea if Villainous 4 & 5 will come to audio this year or next), but I am excited for the audiobooks to be out in the world and hope you’ll join me in bringing the hype once they (finally) arrive!

Oh, yeah… I write monsters too!

In the interest of keeping my Strange Vacationland monsterverse going, I’ve decided to make the full-length Vampires Totally Suck (from the Creepy Court Monster Mall Anthology – which is GONE from the ‘Zon on January 10) part of this world. Besides being extremely cathartic tale to write, this bitey MMF throuple won my (and readers’) hearts, so I’m chomping at the bit to dive back in!

Be Not Afraid and You Can’t Get There from Here (both currently Patreon exclusives once again) are also in this world… I just have to figure out if they’re getting expansions or getting republished as is (maybe as part of a collection, maybe along with new stories… we’ll see!)

More monsters (and villain…ous) in anthologies!

I already shared a tiny tease about 2024 anthologies on social media, but how ’bout a bit more info on the MM one slated for July? I don’t know if I can share the overall theme of the antho yet, but I can tell you I’m going to try my hand at writing contemporary (gasp!)… but within the Villainous universe.

I’ll share more about this couple in the future, but I just love the idea of these one-shot “Big City Stories,” featuring normies finding love as they try to live their goddamn lives among supernatural a$$holes wrecking the place.

My Self-Care Goals for 2024 include maintaining actual office hours & delegating more (and I already brought on Michelle Kardolus of Cliterature 18+ as my new PA, and am SO thankful to be working with her again!), shorter preorder announcements (a month or so out from release) & following my muse, better sleep/exercise, restarting therapy, TRAVELING (Ireland & France are scheduled – including a stop in Villefranche!), decompressing with hobbies (besides reading), and reconnecting with friends.
