**GRAPHIC NOVEL ADAPTATION ANNOUNCED SUMMER 2025**
I’m very pleased that Not All Himbos Wear Capes (Villainous Things, book 1) will be adapted into a graphic novel by Talescape for the worldwide market!
BELATED (from December…) UPDATE: Talescape is expecting episodes 1–5 (?) to be ready for review in February, with a potential release window of July or August. There’s also talk of merchandising ideas(!). I’ll keep everyone informed as more is set in stone.
Talescape recently shared some character art sheets and a holiday portrait on Instagram. The overwhelming response proves how feral you lovelies are for this edition!
**HERCULEIA ITALIAN TRANSLATIONS ANNOUNCED WINTER 2025**
Herculeia’s Monstrously Mythic duet is getting the Italian treatment! The lovely Jessica at InkLiterary is about to embark on an Italian translation odyssey for the full duet – to be completed in time for my appearance at RARE Florence in October!
I’m also very excited to design these, because we’re thinking object covers and I’ve never done those for my books before… and I promise I will look into a stateside Patreon sale after the event – stay tuned…

My team and I also come in regularly to update anything that’s out of date, so please, check back often.

Special Editions (General) FAQs:
Please note: Sale and shipping dates are always estimates. Although I try my best to stay on schedule, I am ONE person, and only human, so I appreciate your patience.
Q: What are your available special editions?
A: I have a delightfully witchy foiled hardcover omnibus of The Yaga’s Riders with custom character art chapter headers and printed edges (art by @marta.intotheforest) available in my open event preorders (with a planned public sale via my store Jan. 12-26, 2026), along with the gorgeous hardcover SE of Not All Himbos Wear Capes illustrated by @lemondade_doodles that was featured in my Villainous Things book boxes.
Q: Do you offer all of your special editions for purchase with shipping?
A: All current special editions I create (e.g. not via a third party) are offered to paid tiers of my Patreon in limited shipped sales and/or are available in my event preorders. These event-exclusive SEs are not available for shipping, even if you preorder and then are unable to attend the event (though you’re welcome to reach out to me and my team to arrange a pickup person per the terms/rules of the event).
Note: I cannot guarantee I’ll have stock available for purchase at my table at events, so preordering is best.
Q: Do patrons get any special edition benefits?
A: Yes. In addition to exclusive access to pre-sales and $5 off the book price that ALL patrons get in the shop:
- Smut Stalkers and above receive a special link to a private, no-stress pre-sale when applicable (usually the day before the applicable Patreon pre-sale).
- Hot X Buns and above may optionally use their codes (provided by me) to subtract the full or partial cost of the book (this counts as their hardcover redemption – see below).
- I’ve also been known to add surprise extra goodies for those at the Hot X Buns tier and above during patron-only special edition sales, such as free special edition art print bundles or coupons for discounted books and/or shipping.
- All levels get cover/item sneak peeks and behind the scenes insights of the entire process and steeper discounts on special edition books.
NOTE FOR PATRONS: It is YOUR responsibility to read the Patreon membership section CAREFULLY (and then ask questions if needed) to understand what benefits you will receive at each tier. And if your name/email differs from what you use on Patreon, please also identify yourself in the Order Notes of all store purchases (including the book boxes). Thank you!
Q: Who can redeem or purchase special edition hardcovers (book only)?
A: Patrons at the Hot X Buns and Smut Stalkers level can redeem special edition hardcovers for FREE or omnibuses for a discount or with a free bonus (at the time of release), and those that have been at that tier for a minimum of three (US) or four (international) consecutive months are eligible for free shipping on paperback/hardcover redemptions. Specifics vary by sale, but for the Villainous Things Book Boxes/SEs Va Ju-Ju Queen patrons had the option to buy just the book (in addition to the option to purchase the book box). Hardcover only pre-sales are typically limited time (NOT limited quantity).
Q: Why are you only offering special editions/hardcovers to patrons?
A: For the same reason I limited the quantity of book boxes (which were open to the public and included the same hardcover) to around 215, and the hardcover redemptions/purchases to only certain levels of Patreon (with a limited time window). This is because of my own logistics & limited energy, not because I’m trying to make anyone feel left out.
Q: Are you working with any third party book boxes?
A: So glad you asked! April and the amazing team at Renegade Romance did a 2025 Book Harvest-exclusive edition of my Herculeia duet, with art by none other than my inventus, @lemondade_doodles. Find more info in this Insta post. We’ve also recently agreed to a patron-only sale which is planned for early 2026, though specifics will be shared on Patreon as they’re finalized.
Also, Marley and the amazing team at Mahogany Mail and Marley’s Must Reads featured Earth Boys Are Easy in their October subscriber box! They’ve also announced they will be finishing the Villains in Space trilogy AND offering the opportunity to add on Earth Boys if you missed the October box. This continuation sale is currently planned for February 2026.

Villainous Things Book Boxes & Special Edition (SE) Hardcovers FAQs:
**ALL VILLAINOUS THINGS SE HARDCOVER REPRINT ORDERS FULFILLED**
THANK YOU to all the members of my Patreon who supported the summer 2025 Villainous Things special edition hardcover reprint sale! As of November 18th, all Villainous Things reprint sale orders have been shipped.
Missed it? A future reprint sale is not off the table. However, if it happens in 2026 it won’t be until the fall (at the earliest) – although a Villainous trading card (and possibly keychain) reprint may be more likely this year. Stay tuned to Patreon, my newsletter, and this page for updates!
Q: Are you still producing/selling the Villainous Things book boxes?
A: No. Fulfillment for the final box, Rabble: End Game, was complete as of June 12, 2025. I have no plans to produce further Villainous Things boxes, though the hardcovers were made available to all paid tiers of my Patreon for a limited time sale in summer 2025.
Q: Will there be another opportunity to buy all the Villainous Things SE hardcovers?
A: I hosted a patron-only sale in summer 2025. While future reprint sales are not entirely off the table, anything in 2026 wouldn’t happen until the fall at the earliest.
Q: Are the Villainous hardcover SEs eligible for redemption (for redemption-eligible Patreon tiers)?
A: Not anymore. They were available to those at Hot X Bun tier and above as each SE was finalized and released but are no longer redemption-eligible.
Q: Are the Villainous hardcover SEs the same as the ones sold in the book boxes?
A: Yes. The only difference were the additional goodies included in the box.
Q: Was the entire Villainous Things series (5 books) done as special edition hardcovers and book boxes?
A: Yes! Boxes were completed for Not All Himbos Wear Capes, Gentlemen Prefer Villains, Putting Out for a Hero, Enter the Multi-Vers, and Rabble: End Game.
Villainous All the Way, a collection of bonus content for the series (and its spin-off series, Villains in Space), was offered as a special edition hardcover to my patrons (though the paperback is available to all in my store!).
Q: Are you planning future boxes beyond Villainous Things?
A: Unless it’s with an outside book box company, probably not. While this project has been fulfilling (and was done in response to a horrendous experience for my readers with a blessedly now defunct book box company), it has also been physically and mentally exhausting.
I do have plans for special signing/Patreon editions (NOT boxes) of my other series…stay tuned!
General Store FAQs:
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: YES! I’m happy to ship store orders internationally and have included instructions on each product listing for how to secure the appropriately-priced shipping option. As of summer 2025, I’m happy to announce that shipping costs for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom are calculated automatically at checkout.
NOTE: Due to recent regulatory changes, I can no longer ship to the EU. In lieu of shipping to an EU address, I suggest considering a forwarding service, like Stackry.
Q: Can I get a personalized inscription?
A: Due to quantity vs. my capacity, I can’t offer personalized inscriptions, particularly on special edition or preorder drops. However, I’m always happy to personalize at events! Event preorders are always signed and you can get those or any of my books/anthologies you bring from home personalized at my table.
Q: I got an email that my order is “Complete” in your store. Does that mean it shipped?
A: Not quite! As orders are prepped for shipping, you will see activity on your store order (changing from “on hold” to “processing” to “complete”). This does not mean your order has been mailed out – just completed on my end (signed and packaged up). You will also receive a shipping notice with tracking from Pirate Ship, which means the label has been created. You will not see any movement on your tracking numbers until your package is in the hands of the carrier (USPS or UPS, typically).
Q: I see my shipped order is delayed or I suspect it’s lost. Can you help?
A: Your best bet is to reach out to the carrier, then email store@c-rochelle.com with any pertinent information. Most carriers are recipient-focused and my team and I likely have less information than you’ll be able to get directly.
Q: I’m located outside the US and my order is marked as “delivered” to an address in New York. What’s going on?
A: Some international customers may receive a “Delivered” notification from PirateShip/UPS that shows your package was delivered to a New York address. Don’t panic! Your package is still on its way, it’s just been handed off from the US-based carrier (e.g. UPS) to your local carrier via a New York-based distribution center. If you don’t receive updated tracking within a few business days, you can call UPS for a new tracking number for your local carrier (you’ll need the original tracking number when you do).
Q: Should I message/email you or Shawna to ask for a private pre-sale for the boxes or other SEs months later, or to ask anything answered in these FAQs in hope of getting a different answer?
A: No.
Q: How do I stay in the know?
A: The best way to receive up-to-date book box info is my newsletter and my Patreon, followed by social media (Instagram and my Facebook group specifically), and then this website.

The Villainous Things special edition hardcover reprint sale/preorder came and went in a flash! At least, that’s what it felt like. THANK YOU to all the lovelies who participated!
Q: When did it close?
A: Tuesday, August 12, 2025 end of day EDT.
Q: Who could purchase?
A: Paid PATRONS who were at the Big Sinners tier and above at the time of purchase. Join my Patreon here.
It was open to both US and international patrons, although we asked those in the EU to use a US-based address or third-party shipping service – like Stackry – due to new regulations.
There is a possibility (although, no promises) of this reprint sale being an annual/semi-annual occurrence. We’ll see how this goes and what the demand is like.
Q: Oh no. I MISSED IT. Can I purchase late?
A: No. While a future reprint sale is not off the table, it’s also not guaranteed (and a 2026 sale wouldn’t happen until fall, at the earliest). The best way to stay up-to-date on future sale opportunities is by joining my Patreon (even free followers get the info first!).
Q: What was the cost?
A: Single hardcovers were $40, the same price they were for patrons originally (with the $5 off patron coupon baked in). I also offered bundle discounts for five (5) or more hardcovers that took an additional $5 off per book. Art print bundles were also offered at the patron-exclusive 20% off price.
PLEASE NOTE: As this was a reprint sale and not a new release/launch, redemptions for hardcover redemption eligible tiers were not offered.
Q: When will they ship?
A: As of Nov. 18, 2025 ALL Villainous Things reprint orders have been shipped. Tracking numbers were delivered by Pirate Ship via email to the address used to place the order.
Q: What was included?
A: All five special edition hardcovers of the Villainous Things series first printed for the limited edition book boxes PLUS the option to add on the patron-exclusive foiled hardcover of Villainous All the Way.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the volume, these are SIGNED, but not personalized.
Q: Were there swag or art print add-ons?
A: Due to the logistics of reordering the various goodies, none of the items from the book boxes were included in this sale. However, I offered several exclusive art print bundles.
1.1 The new Book Box “Overlay” SFW Art Print Bundle ($32) features SFW character art of the leads of the first four Villainous Things books. These four (4) 5×7 art prints were originally offered as vellum overlays included in the book boxes. **These are PRINTS, not overlays.**

PLEASE NOTE: Due to logistics (which are already going to be tricky, let’s be real), you could ONLY buy the above art as bundles. I may add them to my store at a later date—possibly with the option to purchase singles—but I can’t promise when.
As of now, these bundles were available to purchase during the reprint sale and will ship on the same timeline (late October/early November).
Q: Are these/will these be offered anywhere else?
