Content, Tropes & Kinks:
• 13 unhinged POVs with 13 equally unhinged inner monologues (yes, it’s pure chaos).
• Tropical island destination wedding = forced proximity for ALL.
• MM/MMM+ Romance (with a lil FF in there too) involving superheroes, villains, hot-bod body snatching aliens, and a very irritated pregnant normie (and everybody gets some).
• “Family” interactions that will make your sad, rusty heart rattle to life.
• Men in corsets, hoochie daddy shorts & Gambit crop tops.
• Bestie idiots-in-love pining for each other (which leads to a very sweet kink-awakening).
• Slow-burn FF lite sexy times while pregnant (limited penetration with fingers, a tongue machine-gunning its way to O-town, praise, and dirty talk). **While I am purposefully NOT listing this in the “triggers” section, I understand some MM readers prefer not to read anything sexual with an FMC, either for trauma reasons or personal preference. So if you feel you must skip the FF, it’s in Chapter 34 (Kai’s POV), after Xander leaves the scene.**
• Slooty stellar collision besties having slooty fantasies about each other (Please see EXTENSIVE note about “cheating” in the TW section before you get your non-existent panties in a bunch).
• “This family is twisted enough as it is.” Is it, though? (Please see the Family Trees included in this book).
• Rabble Chat in EVERY chapter (because ball-busting is a love language in this family).
• The wedding we’ve all been waiting for! (Too bad there’s also a tropical cyclone, a fried chicken emergency, Lizard Grip Tapegate x 1 Million, and a MURDER MYSTERY in the meantime…)
• Supes so schmoopily in love with each other it makes us sick.
• Supes so psychotically possessive it makes us feral (MINE, MINE, MINE!).
• SO MUCH FILTHY TALK FROM EVERYONE GOOD LAWD (and Xaddy can still make his baby blush).
• Dre’s dick could cut glass every time Theo brats out.
• Box breathing blowies.
• Eyeing mates like last meals.
• That pesky C-word used for the D (along with light feminization for our lizard princess because he/we lurves it).
• Cum eating, snowballing, cum marking… so much cum.
• “I need you to smell like mine” (the sex stank stays on).
• Hand necklaces, mate marking & biting, primal play, knotting, BREEDING (so much breeding), rimming (and fond memories of rimming), facefucking and over-stuffing… shall I go on?
• The particular micro-kink(?) of mouthing cocks through pants.
• “You want me to top you, like the dog you are?” (Yes, Boss).
• Spit STILL being used as lube (for you know who… and the gloves stay on).
• Public sex involving dubious consent, accidental(?) sexting, forced tendril penetration, and a smidge of cock and ball torture (while most everyone else at family dinner are blissfully unaware of what’s happening).
• (Self-imposed) orgasm denial and mutual masturbation while directing the scene.
• Butch tries dirty talk (THIS IS NOT A DRILL).
• Jerking off your mate while you talk about his crush on someone else.
• “I’ll let him scream YOUR name when he comes.”
• But really, we stan a consent king/queen.
• Men blushing, whimpering, whining, and begging
• Dom Gabriel (THIS IS NOT A DRILL!).
• A co-dependent AF yet still annoyingly non-zesty twin relationship that is so freakin’ borderline they may as well kiss already (Theo agrees… and Gabe would probably be game if Dre said yes…).
• “Keep touching me.”
• Tendril Shibari (and a little “knife” play… ’tis but a scratch), edging and orgasm denial, and degradation of a shared brat (he deserves it and loves it).
• A consensual (and very cuuute) collaring moment.
• Creative (albeit somewhat insulting at times) ways to say “I love you.”
• Tendril Huggy Time (not to be confused with Tendril Touchy Time, which also happens quite a bit).
• Cockblocked by a starry Eldritch horror.
• Fear and fragility as an aphrodisiac.
• That’s not space milk on the landing bay floor.
• Ziggy & Simon experiencing brotherhood for the first time and both hating loving it.
• Simon gets a supe name! And it’s appropriately terrifying!
• Superpowers revealed…
• So. Many. Red. Herrings. (Because the author likes to keep you on your toes.)
• Bunny Alarie does not play.
• “Blame Theo” should be the company motto.
• Wolfy does the most and we do not deserve him.
• Alien Rambo turns into Alien Columbo.
• Space Daddy also gets bravely vulnerable for his babygirl.
• An unexpected (and quite fabulous) makeover.
• A close carnivorous encounter of the third kind.
• A little queen doing Queen things.
• Zion & Ziggy are nothing but animals (and are so effortlessly sexy, WE CANNOT).
• A reconciliation (and fiercely resisted redemption arc) that was a long time coming.
• Butch does not stutter when it matters most.
• Father figures STEPPING UP (and some bio dads/moms doing the same).
• Wolfy has baby fever and deserves ALL THE BABIES.
Possible triggers (please also check content list):
• Let’s start with the BIG ONES: **A hint of cheating THAT IS NOT ACTUALLY CHEATING.** There are stellar collision-related reasons for the attraction, everyone is aware and on-board (even if a certain couple is far better at com-mu-ni-cat-ing than a certain throuple is…), and what little does end up happening does so with everyone present. However, there is some innocent/not so innocent flirting at first, along with confusion and big feels (made worse by external meddling). My best advice is to stay calm and trust the process, but if you feel you are unable to not bring YOUR OWN PERSONAL TRIGGERS re: cheating to this evolving dynamic, you might want to sit this one out.
• A friendly reminder that DRE IS THE ONLY ACTUAL DOM IN THIS BOOK (and tries to dom everyone, like the little shit he is).
• **Again, kink being explored and negotiated in both safe and unsafe ways** (Plus a reminder that all involved are SUPERHUMANS… or, not humans… Regardless, it’s consensual, they can handle it, and YOU should not be using this work of FICTION as a manual).
• **Biphobic comments from an ex-girlfriend (in the past, off page) followed by self-deprecating jokes.**
• Sweary dialogue.
• Naughty, medium-dark humor.
• Pet names, used as both nicknames and honorifics (including Space Daddy & Babygirl, Mommy & Princess, aaaand Theo deciding it’s a good idea to call Wolfy “kitten.” Spoiler alert: It’s not).
• Using religious phrases in an overtly sexual setting (oh, my God/Jesus Christ), along with everyday use of the words asshole/slut/worthless cockslut/brat/whore/fucktoy/etc… (with family and/or in the bedroom).
• The word “bitch” (often, “dick-whipped little bitch”) is also used in a derogatory, yet loving way (except when it’s aimed at Jacqueline Salah—then it’s just facts).
• “Gay” being (lovingly) shouted at one’s siblings as a fairly weak insult (gay glass houses and all that…) by someone who’s the very definition of a bi-disaster.
• Fear and violence (against each other and others) as foreplay.
• Morally gray characters with psychotic ideation all around.
• Hint of (potential, future) mpreg (what did you expect with these animals and their BREEDING KINKS?).
• Simon takes over the wedding planning even though no one asked him to.
• Feelings of dread and ambiguity about one’s own wedding (NOT the marriage itself) due to a certain tiny tyrant taking over (resulting in passive-aggressive pot stirring that only makes things worse).
• Learning how to use your words when you’ve been conditioned to not rock the boat.
• Xanny making big life decisions for other people when he should be consulting them first (the idiot meant well).
• Everybody being up in everybody’s business (have you met these people?).
• Theo just refusing to give up on his zesty twin fantasies (and we all sympathize. Please see the Bonus Content section in the back for the existing fanfic).
• Theo dub-conning others into witnessing his banana hammocks (and his true form), and therefore, burning retinas across the land.
• Theo up-skirting someone (in a way…) followed by “accidentally” sharing these photos with the group chat.
• Theo keeping secrets just to be a chaos gremlin (in other words, Theo is very much being Theo in this book).
• Men being absolutely clueless about not only the basic care and feeding of women but what a pregnant person may need in order to not murder their dumb asses.
• Balty is shockingly lacking in the understanding of female anatomy (especially considering he was “totally straight” for a while…).
• Many lessons in (self-)forgiveness.
• Imaginary other woman drama (as in, it doesn’t actually exist. It’s a misunderstanding that gets cleared up quickly).
• Communication is hard for everyone on this island (except for Dr. Micah. He’s really carrying the team at this point).
• Therefore, you should expect many delightful moments of miscommunication! (Per usual!)
• Casual drinking and drug use (please note: The devil’s lettuce is legal in the author’s home state for both rec and medical use).
• A child witnessing a murder (no gory detail, and she’s not harmed or put in harm’s way) that is then stumbled upon by a traumatized normie.
• The (non-detailed) examination of a corpse in a crime scene, accompanied by a verbal description of the signs of poisoning.
• Mechanical tendrils (Micah in the house!) being used to enter a corpse’s throat to gather stomach contents for examination (no details).
• Brief mention (off page, no details) of the results of a physical interrogation.
• Targeted attacks against a pregnant normie (neither Kai nor the baby gets hurt!).
• Mood swings, body image concerns, resentment, and loss of identity due to the physical demands and hormonal changes of pregnancy.
• Bonding over the lack of body autonomy.
• As usual, questionable consent with the twins entering the minds of others (as they—mostly Dre—do).
• Manipulation “for the greater good” (that gets called out, as it should) by a certain bossy twin, including non-con cuddling while one party is under the non-con somno influence.
• Actually consensual cuckolding (in a way) and using arguing/jealousy as foreplay (specifically for the couples/throuples who get off on it).
• A clan leader Going. Through. It. and therefore acting a bit off brand while he figures out his shit (this actually applies to TWO different clan leaders, in different ways).
• The particular pain of watching a friend self-destruct, but knowing you won’t be able to reach them.
• Yet again, grown children trying to prove themselves to narcissistic parents they will never be good enough for while working through the damage done by years of emotional/verbal/physical abuse.
• A MAJOR family betrayal (but retribution is a long time coming and oh-so-sweet).
• A Big Bad we probably all saw coming (but this on-page realization was part of an MC’s canon event, so we all had to let it happen).
• An epic (yet mostly non-gory) battle scene where Big Bad ribs are cracked and hands are sliced off before a badass “animal” tears them in half (YAS!).
• Using super powers to destroy the evidence. As one does.
• Resistance to giving an apology that is absolutely deserved (this actually applies to a couple different characters, but they eventually grovel sufficiently).
• True to form, supes and aliens constantly measuring proverbial dicks.
• A cutthroat, dubious moral code for supes that isn’t meant to be understood by normies. “It’s how the game is played.”
• Epilogue specific TWs (VERY SPOILERY): A long-suffering surrogate ecstatic to have her body and life back after birth, BABIES, babies CRYING, exhausted dads dropping the diaper bags and RUNNING as soon as they get a babysitter, more schmoop.
